Paula 's

Why Work With Me

At the young age of 21, Paula purchased a ½ acre of beachfront at Haulover Bay on St. John, and so began her love affair with all things real estate in the Virgin Islands. Later, it was a sensible house in the neighborly estate of Wintberg on St. Thomas. A home on the West End of Tortola for her parents created memories for her family that will last a lifetime. In 1983 she obtained her Virgin Islands Real Estate License under the broker and businessman Arthur Witty. At that time, Mr. Witty managed Drakes Passage and in the next few years developed the condominiums Sugar Mill Hill and The Pinnacle on St. Thomas. Paula worked in pre-sales and through the completion of both projects in the early 1990s.  Paula owned and operated Rosendahl Riding Ring, a member of the Virgin Islands Equestrian Federation, the Virgin Islands Olympic Committee, and home of the St. Thomas Pony Club.

After Hurricane Marilyn in 1995, Paula and her husband Hans moved with their daughter Bridget to Virginia. In 2006 she obtained her Virginia Real Estate Sales license and sold over $45,000,000 over the next 10 years. Paula continues to practice real estate in Virginia. She holds both the Graduate Realtors Institute designation (GRI) and the Certified Residential Specialist designation (CRS) from the National Board of Realtors (NAR).

Paula volunteers at the St. Thomas Humane Society “No Flea Boutique.”

An avid sailor since childhood, Hans moved to St. Thomas in 1986 from his native Denmark, working as a master carpenter in construction and in the marine industry. Paula and Hans met at the St. Thomas Yacht Club and were married in 1989, right after Hurricane Hugo. Hans was a licensed contractor from 1997 until 2016 and practiced real estate in Virginia from 2009-2016. Currently a tour guide for travel groups from Denmark, he enjoys sharing the rich history of these islands.

Their daughter, Ursula, attended Joseph Sibilly School and graduated from Antilles School on St. Thomas. She graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut in 1999. Bridget was born in St. Thomas and attended Montessori School, the fine Virginia school system, and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013.

Paula and Hans are excited to be living back on their beloved St. Thomas and look forward to serving old friends and new ones.
